The Kinetic Development Group MREX MkII 6.5″ is a modular handguard designed to extend the top rail and add M-LOK mounting where needed on FN SCAR platforms. It is machined from 6061 T6 aircraft-grade aluminum and finished with a Type III hard-coat anodized black finish. The MkII layout increases M-LOK access along the full length of the handguard, including the 2 and 10 o’clock positions, and replaces the previous full-length Picatinny top rail with M-LOK slots for greater mounting flexibility. The 6.5″ extension is intended to accommodate longer barrels and provide a full-size rail extension for SCAR 16 and 17 variants.
